A Van Gogh for Montaco

Achilles, 2012

So long, farewell, adios and goodbye!

Dear Miami,

We can’t thank you enough for welcoming us with open arms. South Florida’s response to Montaco was overwhelming! From day one at Art Basel (w/our friends at Creative Time) to The Food & Wine Festival (kudos to Andrew Zimmern) to everyday vending with the wealth of Food trucks that sprung up over the months, our experience here has been quite the adventure!

We were a lonely little truck on the beaches of Montauk, but here in Florida we became a part of a beautiful family, a united and strong group of Food Truckers. Thank you to all.

Alas the time has come to say goodbye. This email finds me a bit sad to say goodbye to beautiful Florida and all the amazing fans who supported us along the way. But, are fans up north have already started requesting our presence and we must oblige.

Taco Take-Off starts NOW! Our last day on the road will be this Saturday, April 17th. Please check out our online schedule for locations of tasty Mexican treats made with love.

xoxo

Montaco in Action. We have a blast on the truck. Looks like you guys dig it too. Thanks Montaco lovers!

Hey guys, we’re going back, way back. Actually - not really, only from early July or so. But, it feels like so long ago when we started and it’s been a whirlwind ever since. Here are a few pics of some of the funny ups and downs we came across and our first run through in Montauk. We invited friends and family to come eat free tacos so that we could ensure everything was up to snuff when we hit the beach. Thanks to everyone who came out and showed us love and everyone along the way who helped. xx Montaco

Gracias to Schwartz and Sons, our Montaco website is up! Big ups to S&S ;-)
